Our History

The Georgia Diabetes Coalition was formed in 2003 as the advisory arm of the Georgia Diabetes Prevention and Control Program (DPCP) as a resource to help support its outreach program and slow the progression of diabetes in Georgia. On June 22, 2005, the GDC completed its incorporation in the state of Georgia. In April 2008, GDC was recognized as a 501c3 non-profit organization.
